3. App Permissions
- Location (While In Use, Precise): Used for map centering, nearby POIs, and tour guidance.
- Microphone: Not used. We do not record audio.
- Notifications: Not used (if introduced in the future, this policy will be updated).
- Photos/Media: Not used.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Map tiles, points of interest (POIs), and app preferences may be cached locally for performance and offline use.
- No Server Storage: We do not store your personal data on our servers.
- Secure Transport: All network requests (e.g., to retrieve content) use HTTPS.
5. Third-Party Services
- Map Data: We use OpenStreetMap-based map data. No personal information is shared with map data providers.
- Content Delivery: We use Supabase/CDN services to deliver app content (e.g., POIs). No personal or location data is transmitted to these services.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. International Users
This app is available worldwide. If you are using the app outside of the United Kingdom, please note that your data may be processed in accordance with UK data protection laws.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- You can disable location permissions in device settings.
- You can remove locally cached data by uninstalling the app.
- Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, most data rights can be exercised by adjusting your device settings or uninstalling the app.
