Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of data associated with your use of Oxford City Guide at any time. The app does not require an account. Submit the form below and we will review your request.

Thanks — your deletion request has been received. We’ll review it and reply within 30 days if you provided an email address.

How to request deletion

1. Submit the form below with enough detail for us to identify the relevant records.
2. Include the approximate date you used the app and, if your request relates to feedback you submitted, the text or topic of that feedback so we can locate it.
3. We will confirm what was found and deleted within 30 days. We may ask for additional details to identify feedback or an anonymous analytics/diagnostics record.

What data this covers

• Feedback you submitted: the message text, the point of interest or tour it relates to, and the submission date. This is not linked to any account, device ID, or email address, so we locate it using the details you provide in your request.
• Analytics data (PostHog): anonymous, coarse product events and the random on-device identifier, only if you opted in. Events are retained for up to 12 months.
• Crash and performance diagnostics (Sentry): crash/performance data and device/app details, only if you opted in. Events are retained for up to 90 days and sensitive values are redacted before sending.

What we don't hold

Oxford City Guide does not use accounts or sign-in, and does not collect your name, email address, or precise location history on our servers. There is nothing tied to a persistent personal identity to delete beyond the anonymous records described above.

Retention

Feedback is retained until you request its deletion. Analytics events (if you opted in) are retained for up to 12 months. Crash and performance diagnostics (if you opted in) are retained for up to 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Stopping future analytics and diagnostics

Open Settings → Analytics & Diagnostics in the app. Turn off “Product analytics” to stop future PostHog events, and turn off “Crash diagnostics” to stop future Sentry reports. This takes effect immediately for new collection, but does not delete data already sent. A deletion request is additional: it asks us to remove eligible feedback and previously sent PostHog/Sentry data, subject to our ability to identify it.
